This design is reminiscent of the robust, simple furniture forms of designer Rainer Daumiller, who learned his craft from Danish master furnituremakers Knudsen and Vestergaard. In recent years, Daumiller's designs have become popular again, as people are opting for more sustainable light pine wood in vintage design over dark teak and rosewood. Daumiller became world-famous for his pine armchair design for hirtshals savvaerk.
The solid pine tabletop is detachable, and the legs consist of 2 separate parts. Comes with 2 extension leaves. The condition is very good with only some signs of use on the legs. The tabletop has been sanded and stained again for years of mid-century dining pleasure.
